Opened in 2021, our Kesselhaus is a 1,600-square-meter craft beer beast. A brewery, bar, beer garden, event space—and a restaurant serving lunch and dinner—all in the heart of Wedding. It’s the dream come true for every homebrewer, a must-visit for fans of architecture, history, great food, and fantastic beer.
The Kesselhaus is located in the former Bergmann Electricity Works, Germany’s first light bulb factory, built around the turn of the century. It’s vast, impressive, and powerfully beautiful.
However, after more than 20 years of neglect before we discovered it, we had to put in a lot of work to prepare it for its bright future as a brewery. Equipped with massive stainless steel tanks capable of brewing 4,500 liters of Vagabund beer per batch, the Kesselhaus is the next, biggest, and most ambitious step in our journey to bring our craft beer to even more thirsty Vagabunds in Berlin and beyond.
